    DEG is seeking a Business Analyst to develop and manage requirements for a variety of ecommerce projects. This person should be experienced with traditional Business Analyst software development methodologies, be familiar with ecommerce systems and be comfortable communicating directly with client stakeholders. To be successful in this role, this person should be able to quickly understand and explain different technologies and solutions, explaining how they map to a clients business needs.


    A successful Business Analyst will elicit business requirements and document functional specifications to assure a successful implementation of a solution of high quality, on-time, and on-budget to exceed client expectations and achieve business needs.     • Perform business analysis on ecommerce projects of moderate to high complexity
    • Understand the project scope and high-level business requirements
    • Undesrtand the path to purchase and flow of data between systems in an ecommerce environment
    • Assist to create high-level business requirements
    • Review Statement of Work (SOW), project timeline, requirements and identify risks
    • Facilitate and lead specifications elicitation meetings with the client
    • Facilitate sprint planning meetings with the project team
    • Manage backlog and future specifications to ensure engineering team is aware of the pipeline
    • Analyze documentation from clients and vendors
    • Create process/data flows to create a visual representation of requirements
    • Participate in design sessions and create wireframes as and when needed
    • Manage requirements, specifications and track changes with use of effective change management process
    • Remove roadblocks for engineering team
    • Assist to create QA test cases, client acceptance test plan and management of issue log
    • Conduct showcases with clients to gather feedback throughout the project
    • Conduct peer reviews to ensure deliverable quality, help other business analysts grow and learn from their work
    • Provide guidance and direction to Associate Business Analysts during the project
    • Bachelor's degree in technical or business area and 3-6 years of formal business analyst experience, or 3-6 years of equivalent work experience in a process driven environment with effective documentation methods
    • Willingness to travel as needed for project activities (typically less than 5%)
    • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) a plus
    • Experience with various technologies like PHP, .Net, Java, UI frameworks, etc. is a plus
    • Experience with Ecommerce, Content Management, CRM, and mobile platforms is a plus
    • Prior experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
    • Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
