DEG is seeking a Technical Consultant to act as the onsite DEG point of contact between vendors, the client and our technical team during the roll out, warranty and post launch of the new KCPL solution. The warranty is scheduled until October 2018 and is budgeted with this as a dedicated position.  This person should be experienced with traditional Business Analyst software development methodologies in a high pressure, deadline driven consulting setting and be comfortable communicating directly with client stakeholders as well as have the technical depth to trouble shoot complex issues in collaboration with the client and technical resources from vendors.

  • Triage incoming issues as DEG, PWC, Oracle or client related
  • Trouble shoot issues and and address or escalate to the engineering team
  • Follow up and communicate status and to the team, other vendors and the client. 
  • Address work, meetings and communications delegated from the solution and technical architect
  • Build trust with the client as the main point of contact for issues during the launch, user acceptance testing and warranty periods of the project.


  • Experience troubleshooting and communicating critical issues on a large scale solution deployment. 
  • Indepth technical experience with highly complex, data driven enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent client and team communication skills.
  • Ability to to perform well under client and timeline pressure.
