DEG is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support DEG’s Business Development team.  The Sales Coordinator provides administrative support, backup, and coordination to more senior level roles within the Business Development team for activities related to approved projects. In this role, the Sales Coordinator will ensure that the Business Development team has a library of sales support material, such as contract templates, case studies, and proposal templates as well as supporting a variety of tasks related to reporting and client communications.


Our Sales Coordinators are client facing and hands-on. They provide a variety of support services to help Business Development Directors improve their productivity and spend more time selling. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day coordination tasks and documentation including maintaining timelines, writing meeting and project summaries, and conducting research with as-needed guidance from senior staff.  Sales Coordinators communicate updates to the sales team and clients on progress of initiatives to ensure results are delivered on time, on budget and on target.

  • Work with contracts team to stay on top of document logistics.
  • When processing engagement letters, coordinate project teams, timing and internal knowledge transfer.
  • Keep customers abreast of project status prior to start date.
  • Work closely with marketing to arrange for production of presentations and supporting materials to help sales representatives win business.
  • Contact customers and prospects to arrange appointments or make follow-up calls to confirm activities.
  • Sales coordinator also acts as a first point of contact on named Sales Managed accounts for urgent calls, emails and messages when sales representatives are not available.
  • Communicate regularly with key client contacts and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Serve as a point of contact and information resource for external and internal clients.
  • Provide support on the creation of proposals and presentations to existing clients.
  • Create and maintain project documentation (e.g. meeting notes, status updates, timelines, etc.).
  • Facilitate internal client meetings and manage meeting summaries.
  • Stay current on processes and timelines to ensure projects progress in a timely matter.
  • Provide support on measurement and reporting processes for all assigned accounts.
  • Contribute to company innovation, knowledge base, and marketing/sales efforts.



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline.
  • Strong interest in sales coordination and/or experience in the digital/interactive marketing/consulting environment preferred.
  • Must be extremely organized.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Capacity and willingness to rapidly adapt, thrive, and multi-task in a highly dynamic workplace.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Positive, optimistic, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, project management, and research skills.
  • Experience in documentation and business planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with ongoing supervision.
  • Ability to use a computer regularly and for long intervals.
  • Proficiency with business software (e.g. the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Periodic travel required.
